Please consider this my personal invitation for you to come “Home for the Holidays” at Holy Cross MCC. This has been the theme of our Advent Worship Series and we’ve missed you. Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service begins at 6PM and will be followed by a Sweet Treats Reception. We’re asking those who can to bring a dish of their favorite holiday treats with enough to share. The service features traditional Christmas music, a traditional Christmas message, communion and candlelight.
Christmas Day worship is at 11:00AM. Please notice the time change which is for this Sunday only. This service will traditional Christmas music, a traditional Christmas message, communion and maybe even a little Christmas morning candlelight.
Come for one or come for all of it and join with your Holy Cross MCC family as we gather at “Home for the Holidays.” I can’t wait to see you.
If your experience is similar to mine, you get many letters and emails this time of year suggesting and end of the year donation to write off on your taxes. I hope you’ll remember Holy Cross MCC in your end of the year financial planning. As a tax exempt organization, all of your contributions to Holy Cross are tax deductible. We will use every dollar you give to ensure that our ministries are fully funded and fully active. I hope you’re experienced during this Advent how much we can do with a modest amount of funding. Your Board and I appreciate your contributions to Holy Cross MCC all through the year.
From our house and family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. Remember, God’s greatest gift is on the way, and he’ll be here in just a few more days. Let’s celebrate together.
