Christian Action
Then I Will follow You ~ Reflection on Matthew 8:18-23
On life's journey more than once we find ourselves, and will find ourselves, at a fork in the road where we must decide to either maintain ourselves firm in our Christian convictions, or do that which is personally, socially, culturally or politically correct.

Christian Community
Do All This and You Will Have Eternal Life ~ Reflection on Luke 10:25-37
Many times as Christians we believe that to help our neighbor we only need to give money to some organization or to a good cause. This is truly helpful. But a much greater truth is this; even more so than the money we can give, it's important to give ourselves.

Christian Responsability
Freely You Have Received, Freely Give ~ Reflection on Matthew 9:35-38 & 10:6-8
For many of my acquaintances, friends and family, I am a nothing-special kind of guy, without any sort of ambitions. Largely because it is not a priority of my life to have my own house or car, a big bank account, nor to wear fashionable clothes. Or because I put aside the highly paid professions, with many fine benefits, and have chosen to work in a church, practically for free.

Depression
Let’s Talk About Depression (Part 1) ~ Reflection on Philippians 4:6-7
Clinical depression (also called severe depressive disorder, major depressive disorder) is a state of intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive to an individual's social functioning and/or activities of daily living. (Wikipedia)

Death and Losses
Death is a gift also ~ Reflection on John 11:1-36
One of the most difficult moments of life is death. The process of death is an extremely painful state. No words of breath seem powerful enough to quiet our souls. And although many people understand our circumstances and stand with us in our pain, in fact nobody can feel what we feel.

Every Day Living
To Be Rich Toward God ~ Reflection on Luke 12:13-21
Many times it is thought that ambition is a bad thing. Personally, I don't believe this. To the contrary, I firmly believe that ambition is a very good thing for our growth and development. However, we must not confuse ambition with avarice.

Faith
Another Counselor ~ Reflection on John 14:8-17 and 25-27
Jesus knew that many of those who followed Him did it because they were moved solely by the excitement of the moment, caused by the miracles He performed. He also knew that when he had to finish His mission on Earth, many of His followers would simply disappear and even deny Him.

Gay Spirituality
Jesus, the Closet's Messiah ~ Tie for 3rd Place at The 2004 MCC Sermon Contest
Was Jesus always proud of who he was? The answer is: NO, apparently, Jesus was not always proud of who he was. Jesus was the incarnation of God. God made to be a human. And being human meant for him to doubt himself and his mission, just like you and I doubt some of the moments in out lives.

Unity
I Pray That All Of Them May Be One ~ Reflection on John 17:20-26
How easy it is to pray for ourselves. It might also be easy to pray for the people we love. But what is not so easy is to pray for those who are outside of our circle of intimates. For example: a far away relative whom we don't like and to whom we never speak; a work associate who always criticizes what we do; or someone whom we've just met who make jokes about us.
