Metropolitan Community Church believes that the bible is the divine Word of God and is known as “The Inclusive Church.” Themed by the prophet Isaiah: “My house shall be called, a house of prayer for all people.” We likewise desire to welcome all and we place value on the unique individual and the gifts of each.
Just a little bit about our church:
Founded in 1977, we were happy to celebrate our 40th anniversary as a Metropolitan Community Church coming soon in February. At Holy Cross MCC, our Sunday service and communion is both a prayerful and joyous celebration that includes a relevant message appropriate for our time and place.

Just a little bit about our great city:
Over 450 years ago, Pensacola, Florida became the first European settlement in what was to become the United States of America. Our rich and diverse history lends itself to fascinating historical and archaeological sites that make for a colorful and exciting trip back through time.
Geographically, Pensacola is bordered to the south by the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world. The skies are blue an average of 300 days a year and the emerald green waters and swaying sea oats create a fabulous landscape to anchor amazing sunrises and sunsets. Nature trails, natural waterways, and campgrounds literally dot northern Escambia County.
Pensacola boasts some of the best weather conditions in the continental United States with an average high in January of 60 degrees and 90 degrees in July and August. The average winter low is around 50 degrees. The beaches and golf courses are open year round!
Downtown Pensacola is teeming with entertainment and activity including numerous museums, parks, historical monuments, theatres, opera, quality dining, and entertainment venues. The yearly festival calendar includes local and national events such as Pensacola Seafood Festival, PensacolaPRIDE, Art and Wine Festival, Gulf Coast Renaissance Fair, Jazzfest, Crawfish Festival, Soulfest, The Blue Angels Airshow, Songwriters Festival, and the New Year’s Eve Pelican Drop, just to name a few.
Pensacola’s history, stunning scenery, fabulous weather, and progressive movement are just a few of the many things that make Pensacola our own little piece of paradise. We would love to share it with you!
