Training
Do you want to be an Acolyte? Acolytes are trained to set-up communion, to hold the sacraments, to carry the cross, and to light the candles. For the traditional worship service, you will be trained to wear the robe and to walk the processional and recessional.
Want to be a reader, greeter, or usher? We will train you. For more information, contact the church office at (850) 469-9090.
Prayer Partner
Are you called to be a part of our Prayer Ministry? We are in need of more Prayer Partners. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please see Pat or send her an email at .
Prayer Box
Do you have a prayer request you would like to keep confidential? The Prayer Ministry is providing a Prayer Box for those requests that are not voiced. Your requests do not have to be verbal in order to go up. The next time you have a silent prayer request; place your request in the Prayer Box before or after the service. The box will be located in the foyer at those times and placed at the altar during the service. ALL prayer requests are kept confidential by the Prayer Minister.
Praise Team
You are welcome to join our Praise Team. Anyone who wants to sing and serve God through the gift of music is encouraged to participate in this exciting ministry. If you are interested in joining the Praise Team, come to their practice on Thursday evenings and see Cindy Painter. Check the HCMCC Calendar for the time.

"I'm a Christian" by Carol Wimmer
When I say, "I'm a Christian," I don't speak with human pride. I'm confessing that I stumble, needing God to be my guide. When I say, "I'm a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on. When I say, "I'm a Christian," I'm not bragging of success, I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt. When I say, "I'm a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect, My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I'm worth it. When I say, "I'm a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartache which is why I seek Christ's name. When I say, "I'm a Christian," I do not wish to judge. I have no authority. I only know I'm loved.
Healing Prayer of Dr Emoto
“I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, planktons, corals, algae and all living creatures.....I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you."
